How is the child met in accordance with the Barnahus standards when investigating suspected violence?
Protect Children has been involved in producing a video as part of the Council of Europe's project "Ensuring child-friendly justice through the effective operation of the Barnahus-units in Finland". The video presents to the child and family, according to their age, what to expect from a visit to a forensic psychological interview. The child has the right to information. Information shared in advance reduces possible tension or other difficult feelings related to the visit, and is thus in the child's best interest. The video is available in Finnish and English, as well as with Swedish subtitles.
